Whatever.

Directed by Ashley Olive Teague

Written by Scott Brooks

In a shared back yard in a gated community in a carefully watered enclave, David and his wife Luna live next to Cooch and Chrissy. Each is in their own way, infamous and each is in their own way, greeting the approach of the Next Phase of LIfe with a kind of audible sigh.Out of the boredom, Luna, Chrissy and Cooch find themselves fixated on David’s unique job situation which is; he is the pilot for a tech billionaire (he can’t say who,) and is on perpetual standby and never flies him anywhere. Gossip and conjecture reach a fever pitch when a super virus seems to be threatening the world outside of their cul de sac, and a representative of the the company loitering nearby tells David that he may be called into active duty soon. Is the news they are getting on social media to be believed? Do any of us really know if anything we see online is real? Is David’s very boss the man responsible for all of this and is David’s plane his escape? Too many drinks at the BBQ and too many whispered conversations throw their lives into chaos as David’s time to suit up is upon them all.
